Eye drops should guarantee intensive and constant moistening of the ocular surface for the treatment of severe and chronic cases of dry eyes. Only high-viscosity eye drops, which remain a significantly long time on the ocular surface, can contribute to an effect of continuous eye moisture.
Hyaluronic acid, contained in Hylo-Gel, is ideal for achieving the above. Due to its special characteristics and the extremely high quality of hyaluronic acid contained in Hylo-Gel, a concentration of 0.2% is sufficient to achieve a significantly high viscosity of the solution.
An important point is also that Hylo-Gel has an almost gel-like consistency (thick consistency) and does not cause any damage to vision.
