TEARS NATURALE® Eye drops, solution

COMPOSITION Dextran 70 1.0 mg/ml, Hypromellose 3.0 mg/ml, Sodium Borate Decahydrate, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Sodium Hydroxide and/or Hydrochloric Acid to adjust pH= 7.5, Purified Water q.s. to 1ml, Polyquaternium-1
general information
TEARS NATURALE® contains the DUASORB system consisting of two water-soluble polymers: 1. DEXTRAN 70 2. HYPROMELLOSE This system, mixed with the existing tears, promotes the wetting of the cornea by correcting the deficiency of both the aqueous and the mucous layers of the tear film. membrane. TEARS NATURALE® has a surface tension and viscosity similar to normal tears. The above properties, combined with the mucin-like action of TEARS NATURALE®, allows the tear membrane breakdown time (BUT) to be restored to normal (15-25 seconds). Finally, the nasolacrimal excretion time of the Hypromellose polymer has been shown to be much longer than that of other excipients, which allows a prolonged action on the ocular surface.
