Grintuss Pediatric is a syrup that acts both during the dry cough phase, treating mucosal inflammation, and during the mucus phase, enhancing hydration and its elimination from the upper respiratory tract. INDICATIONS
Grintuss Pediatric syrup is indicated for the treatment of cough, both dry and productive, in children from 1 year of age. It is indicated for both acute cough and persistent cough.
HOW IT WORKS
Grintuss exerts a physiological protective, soothing and anti-inflammatory effect on the upper respiratory tract as a result of the following mechanisms of action:

Forms a film on the mucosa and protects it from contact with irritants.
Antioxidant
Reduces free radicals generated by mucosal inflammation.

Promotes the hydration of the mucus present in the upper respiratory tract, reducing its viscosity and enhancing its elimination.

Limits friction between the epiglottis and pharynx during coughing, thus counteracting the vicious cycle that contributes to inflammation.
