A cough syrup for adults.
It is a Medical Technology product based on Phytoclad repair®, honey and plant extracts and is indicated for the treatment of dry and productive cough, which is associated with irritation of the oropharyngeal mucosa and related symptoms in people aged 12 years and older.
TERRA TOSSE ADULTI acts in a targeted manner on the oropharyngeal mucosa, resulting in the formation of a membrane that protects the oral mucosa from inflammation, irritation and aggravation from frictional forces due to the cough itself which delays the normal healing of the affected mucosa.
The protective action of the membrane accelerates and improves the normal processes of re-epithelialization and regeneration, treating the cause or effects of cough, as well as conditions related to inflammation of the throat, which are characterized by itching, swelling and burning.
Finally, thanks to its moisturizing effect, it aims to thin the mucus, facilitating the normal elimination of phlegm and any pathogenic and irritating factors incorporated in it, in order to free the respiratory tract and improve breathing.
TERRA TOSSE ADULTI works through the following mechanisms:
the mucoadhesive liquid formulation keeps the active ingredients in contact with the oropharyngeal mucosa, transferring the actions of each ingredient for a targeted treatment against dry and productive coughs and sore throats,
Phytoclad repair®, which contains Polysaccharides, Mucilage and Flavonoids from Mallow and Prickly Pear [Opuntia], with the creation of a protective film and its lubricating action is useful in cases of dry cough and throat inflammation.
The creation of the membrane protects the surface of the oropharyngeal mucosa from contact with irritants and pathogens, while accelerating the re-epithelialization of the inflamed, swollen and painful part,
the mallow extract, thanks to its emollient and soothing effect on the oropharyngeal mucosa, is suitable for maintaining the normal tone of voice and for liquefying bronchial secretions, as well as for easier expectoration of sputum, necessary in case of productive cough disorders,
honey with its soothing effect is useful for the well-being of the respiratory tract.
It enhances natural salivation, resulting in greater secretion of mucus in the airways, with a subsequent softening effect on the pharynx and larynx and reduction of any type of cough.
The synergy of the active ingredients results in a lubricating action that reduces the friction of the mucous membranes in the oropharynx, soothing the irritation from the start.
USE
It is recommended to take 1 scoop of 20 ml up to 3 times a day between meals or as needed.
Suitable for adults and children over 12 years old.
For best results, avoid drinking liquids or eating food for two hours after taking.
Continue the recommended daily dose for the duration of symptoms.
Shake before use.

WARNINGS
The product should be used for oral use only. Clean the measuring cup thoroughly after each use. Close the bottle carefully after each use. Not recommended for use in cases of known hypersensitivity to one or more of the listed ingredients. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist after one week of use. Keep away from children. Do not use the product after the expiry date. Do not use the product if the packaging is not intact. The duration of treatment should not exceed 30 days. Patients and any healthcare professional must inform the Manufacturer and the competent national authorities in case of accidents or adverse events, due to the use of the medical product.
STORAGE RULES AND EXPIRY DATE
The expiry date is indicated on the product in intact and properly stored packaging. Store the product in a place protected from direct sunlight and away from heat sources. Do not expose the product to temperatures above 25 °C.
