Features

Pans without active substances made of fine knit cotton fabric. Permeable to air and secretions, impregnated with neutral ointment in large quantities so that it does not come off even with intense sweating. Easily cut to the desired dimensions. The ointment contains: white petrolatum, diglyceride ester of monocarboxylic and dicarboxylic fatty acids, synthetic wax.

• Thanks to the mesh with large gaps, secretions can be absorbed without any problem by the secondary dressing, which avoids any risk of exudate accumulation.
• Due to the fats it contains, it maintains the flexibility of the wound edges and stimulates the formation of granulation tissue and re-epithelialization, while preventing the dressing from adhering to the wound.

• The renewal of the dressing is painless: the granulation tissue and the young epithelium are not irritated.

Application of Grassolind gauze ointment

Gauze ointment for general wound treatment, especially for maintaining the elasticity of the wound surface and edges, e.g. for large abrasions or cuts as well as burns or scalding water burns, in plastic and cosmetic surgery, in nail extraction, in gagging operations, etc. For covering the donor and recipient areas in skin grafts and for holding partial thickness skin grafts. They are also indicated for dermatology as well as for patients with sensitive skin or with sensitivity to drugs.

Method of application

Remove the gauze from the sterile packaging, keeping both applied protective sheets.

Cut it to the size of the wound, if necessary.

After removing one of the protective films, apply the dressing to the wound and then remove the other protective sheet.

To absorb wound exudate, it is recommended to apply a sterile absorbent dressing over Grassolind.

Unless otherwise recommended by a doctor, Grassolind is changed whenever it occurs.
