CLA MAX contains Clarinol A-80, a blend of free fatty acids with a high content of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), derived from natural safflower oil. It yields 80% pure CLA, including its two main active isomers (c-9,t-11 & t-10,c-12 CLA), as they occur in nature, in a 50:50 ratio.

Despite its close structural affinity to linoleic acid, CLA has very different properties. It is one of the most effective natural substances against obesity, since it reduces fat in favor of lean muscles.
It also reduces cholesterol and triglycerides, while in studies it reversed vascular atheromatous lesions.
It works by inhibiting the action of an enzyme that allows fat to enter fat cells. In addition, it helps glucose enter the muscle cells more efficiently, thus preventing it from turning into fat. In this way, muscle mass increases.

Contraindications-Interactions
CLA is not indicated for people on anticoagulants.
This preparation is not recommended for pregnant or lactating women.
Supplementation with conjugated linoleic acid may cause nausea or stomach upset, however, these effects are likely to be reduced when CLA is taken with meals.
