Liquid diosmectite in sachets, intended to help manage acute and chronic diarrhea in adults and children over 24 months of age.
Diosmectite is a natural clay whose fine, lamellar overlapping crystalline structure confers strong adsorptive properties. Owing to these properties, it helps retain fluids within the intestinal lumen (as well as bacterial toxins and viruses, when present), resulting in increased stool consistency and reduced frequency of bowel movements.
The adsorptive capacity of diosmectite also enables Diolin Liquid Epsilon Health to interact with the glycoproteins of the mucus layer covering the gastroduodenal wall. By modifying their physical characteristics, it promotes the formation of a protective gel against acid hypersecretion and substances that damage the gastrointestinal tract, thereby creating a barrier against the mechanisms involved in the development of inflammation.
Dosage and Administration:
Adults: 1 sachet, 3 times daily
Children (>6 years): 2–3 sachets daily
Children (2–6 years): 1–2 sachets daily
Shake well before use. It is recommended to take the product between meals.
